Woodshop Services

Shop Update 7-20-23

We now have a minimum fee of $500 for all shop services unless you purchase your lumber from our inventory or have a trade account with us. If you would like to sign up for a trade account, please reach out to Nick Bianco nick@kccustomhardwoods.com.

All shop services are by appointment only at our warehouse location.

Custom Log Milling

We Can Accomodate Up to 33' long x 6' Wide

Surfacing/Slab Flattening

Up to 20' long x 6' wide

Widebelt Sanding

Up to 53" wide

Kiln Drying

We are not currently kiln-drying for hire.

Pricing

Slab Flattening/Surfacing: $4/sq ft per side

Planing: $5/sq ft per side

Widebelt Sanding: $3/sq ft per side

Combo Surfacing and Sanding: $5/sq ft per side

All other services are billed at $100/hour. We are happy to provide estimates before starting on your project.

If we hit metal or unknown objects while surfacing your lumber, we ask that you pay the cost to repair or replace the machine’s blade(s).
